Tour is not recommended for guest with low level of fitness.
Uluru Kata Tjuta National Parks classifies the Valley of the Winds walk to be Grade 4 – Difficult, a high level of fitness is required.
You must wear sturdy walking shoes. You won’t be permitted on the Valley of the Winds walk in shoes with heels, sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes.
What to bring
- Sunglasses, sunscreen and hat
- Flynet in summer months (optional)
- Warm layers in cooler months
- Sturdy walking shoes (shoes with heels, sandals, flip-fops, or open-toe shoes are not permitted)
- Water bottle to hold 1.5 litres
