Where do I find my pick time and location?

Pick up times and locations are found in the Trip Details section of each tour page. Please select either the location of your hotel, or the location closest to your hotel if your accommodation is not included in the list of options.

Once your Day Tour is confirmed you will receive your booking confirmation and itinerary which will have the details of your pick up time and location included.

To maximize your time on tour we pick up only from hotels where we know our guests will be waiting for us. Please re-confirm 24 hours before your trip departs to ensure your desired pick-up location will be on the coach route. The hotel you are staying at may not necessarily be where your specific tour departs, please re-confirm with our team before your trip.

I missed the pick up time, who do I contact?

If you miss your pick up time, please speak with the hotel reception at your pick up location. They can contact AAT Kings to confirm if the coach has already left or if it will be able to come and collect you.

It is important that pick ups are on time, to ensure there is enough time to do all included experiences in your tour. It is likely that if you have missed the pick up, the coach cannot turn back to collect you and you may have to wait until another day to do the tour.

The best way to avoid this is to plan ahead and be ready at your pick up location 5-10 minutes prior to the departure. If you do not receive an SMS from AAT Kings to confirm your pick up time, please call 1300 228 546 (option 1) to reconfirm and ensure you will meet the coach at the right time.

Are your tours suited to all fitness levels?

With such a diverse range of holidays and tours, we offer sightseeing options to suit everyone. However, some will require a higher fitness level than others. If you are unsure, please check with our expert reservations team for advice before booking. How much walking is involved in your trips?

Our itineraries are a well-balanced mix of walking and enjoying sites from the comfort of your coach.

The activity level and amount of walking can vary, so it is important that you bring adequate footwear to ensure your comfort and safety.

When walking there can be some uneven terrain or times when more walking is required than others. You can see the Fitness Requirements for each itinerary in the Trip Details section of the tour page.

Do I need to advise AAT Kings of any special assistance e.g. medication, mobility issues or serious medical conditions?

Yes, it’s essential that we know of any mobility, medical conditions, special or dietary needs you may have at the time of booking so that we can ensure, as much as possible, your needs are met on tour.

Please notify AAT Kings of any disability requiring special assistance prior to travelling. This enables us to make reasonable adjustments in order to accommodate the specific requirements of those travelling with a disability. A companion should always accompany those guests who require individual assistance to walk, get on and off the motorcoach and other vehicles and for personal needs such as dining, dressing etc.If you have any concerns regarding your health or fitness levels, we request that you complete the Specific Requirements form available for download here and return it to our Contact Centre who will be in touch to discuss your trip.
